This is the lovely picture of my beloved OG 11 during the last day of JJ orientation camp. OG 11 consists of 4 OGLS namely Jia Feng (the beautiful F3 vice family head or da mei nu), Grace (the self-proclaimed chiobu OG IC), Rasyid (the attitude games committee) & Wei Yuan (the always-missing-in-action logistic committee). And not to forget the 24 cute J1s including: Rani, Michelle, Yvonne, Bao Xian, Wan Jun, Seng Lien, Jessie, Shi Hui, Clara, Hui Yu, Xinying, Xiangyu, Alex, Wen Ting, Celeste, Milton, Wilbert, Mervyn, Maw Cherng, Wei Quan, Hong Ngiap, Jia Jing, Kah Soon and Shi Yi.


Alright. I just got home from movie. I went to watch Memoirs of A Geisha (finally!) Some of the things shown in the movie were different from the real novel. Overall, I think it was a good movie that one shouldn't miss out on. And I must definitely comment that Gong Li is super chio despite her age of 40 and her acting skills are really superb. She is able to bring out the evil in Hatsumomo. Anyway, The Da Vinci Code is coming to the theatres on May 2006. Saw the thriller and I swear I'm going to watch it. Haha. Speaking of which, I had finished reading the novels Da Vinci Code plus Angels & Demons. Super nice books.


Today is new yr. Chu yi. Went to bai nian at my cousin house. Yesterday when we had our reunion dinner, my cousin brought his girlfriend over. Today my another cousin also brought his girlfriend along. Lol. Jimmy kor kor had another son whose name is Zovan. He is such an adorable toddler, looks like Pooh. Lol. He is super clever and super cute.


On friday, we had our chinese new year celebration. Our band performed and I didn't know what to comment on our performance. Anyway I enjoyed myself a lot when we had the mass singing on stage. The concert ended at 930am. Went to the canteen to meet the rest of my OG and we took photos. Then, I went back to Fuhua with Sin Ying and Grace and others. Cheered for some teachers whom I didn't know who. Quite a disgrace. But nonetheless could see the J1s (also ex-fuhuaians) were very high due to our orientation. We left Fuhua even before the concert ended because it was super boring. Went to eat our all-time favourite BAN MIAN! After that we went to Jurong Point to get materials to do our stuff for our OG. So Grace and Sin Ying came to my house. When we were at Gek Poh, Sin Ying wanted to go home first. So we waited with her to get a cab. Then Grace came up to my house to do the stuff.


At 4pm plus, I went to bathe while Grace rotted at my house. We went to Two Way because Grace booked an appointment with Thomas. Once again, I sat there, rotted to wait for her. We were supposed to meet our OG for dinner at JEC Pizza Hut so obviously we were super late. Then something happened along the way to JEC which I didn't want to say. The dinner was fun though many didn't turn up. After that, we went home and I slept. Lol.


Looking forward to this Thursday.................

Oh what the F~. I'm down with flu and super serious cough. And I missed school today because of that. How well can it be? I'm super lethargic now. I want to sleep in some more. I want to recuperate so that I can get well soon. Then I can hit the outdoors again.


PS: I super dislike my GP tutor because she forces us to read the newspapers and do article reports. Ok, maybe I misunderstood her intentions. BUT I just hate to do article reports.

Yesterday was the first F3 outing we had after orientation. As usual, we went to Sentosa. Initially, it was F2 and F5 who comtemplated this Sentosa outing. But Wei Yuan suggested that F3 crashed into their outing. Ok, so it was decided that F3 would have a similar outing on the same day as them. I don't know if it's communication breakdown or ogls' reluctance to go, the entire organisation of the outing was screwed up, just right at the day before the outing. I was super pissed off at the disorganisation and the way people twisted my information that had been long spreaded. Nonetheless, the outing didn't turn out to be as bad. It was very fun to be exact.


Yesterday morning, I received Sebastian's message saying that he won't be coming and asked me to take care of his og. What was worse is that he didn't remember who were his og memebers who were going. Zzzz. Then I was supposed to meet Chong Tat at Boon Lay mrt station at 815am. He made me waited for 30 minutes. I didn't dare to pick up Rasyid's call because he was waiting for the 2 of us at Jurong East. So finally Chong Tat came and we met the rest of the people. The few of us went to Sentosa first. While the rest stayed to wait for the latecomers.


Rasyid, Chong Tat and me went to Cold Storage to get mineral water for the family. The 2 guys were scoffing that girls have no sense of direction. So I decided to stand up for the female population and wanted to prove them wrong. In the end, I got more snide remarks and smirk faces from them. Throughout the whole trip, I was being laughed at and bullied. =( Anyway to side track a little, I ate the octopus sushi and found it simply delicious. The appearance of it is digusting but it taste GOOD. Haha.


We reached Sentosa, and I was the very first one to get dunked into the sea by Rasyid and Chong Tat. Poor me, it was always me. One by one, the ogls got the J1s into the sea, and we were having so much fun splashing water and putting sand into shirts and shorts. Someone (can't remember who) threw sand into both of my eyes till I could feel pain. I couldn't open my eyes and I was searching for someone's shirt to clean off the sand. Milton from my og led me to the shower head there to wash my eyes. I was touched by that. After that, we had a game of Captain's Ball, og 11 vs og 15. A lot of people said I super violent. I even tripped over Sherman but it was done unintentionally. Lol. I was busy laughing the whole day. And that stupid Maw Cherng. Took his own sweet time to get to Sentosa. But I was shocked when he went to get a new soccer ball. I asked him why and he told me that because I asked him to bring one but his own soccer ball couldn't make it so he went to get a new one. Lol.


After game, I was already not feeling too well. My cough simply got very jia lat. The J1s went for lunch break while I sat under the shade with some ogls and were chatting. We had some mass dance. After that, I went to 7-11 to get some food with Chong Tat and Clarence. We saw this HUGE black dog. The 2 guys were scared stiff (actually me too, just that I didn't show it out). The owners reassured us many times that the dog is tamed. Haha. Super funny.


After that, I became super quiet already. Because my throat really couldn't make it. We went to the towers and we were trying to shake May and Wei Yuan off so that they could have some time of their own. Lol. So when we left the towers, they didn't follow us. The 2 of them stayed at the top of the tower don't know do what. Lol. Jason saw lightning so I called all of them to get out of the water and we left the beach for bathing. By the time we finished bathing it was raining already. We took the tram and the whole group of us splitted into 2. Grace and me were having some heart to heart talk and I realised something. Lol. But seriously la grace, I don't think it's true leh. Shrugs. We reached Harbourfront Banquet first. Paterson came to join us for dinner. We started eating then Chong Tat's og came to join us. We played Zhong Ji Mi Ma then May kena truth or dare. We asked if she likes Wei Yuan. After hesitating for a while she nodded her head. Lol. The scandalous pair not scandalous anymore, they became the truth. By then, my voice had totally gone. I couldn't talk properly and my throat was super pain.


At 9 plus, we went home and once again I was super quiet again because of my voice. Then I sat 242 home with Chong Tat. He offered me some herbal sweets that are good for throat. I took 2 of it. It did cured the sore throat. Only that now my throat got a lot of phlegm. Lol. I really enjoyed myself a lot.


I gonna stay at home today, start reading my Da Vinci Code and finish up my homework.

After all these days of orientation, I'm finally back to update my blog. I'm in now is Grace's house now. Alright, I was rather full of myself and I proclaimed that I would be able to reach her house on my own, without her guidance. In the end, I alighted at the wrong stop and I had to pathetically walk in the storm to get myself to her house. I'm freezing cold now, drenched from the rain and her fan was blowing right at my butt. Lol.


Orientation 2006 : Kaleidoscope of Life. 3/1 - 7/1


Admin Day 1

The ogls arrived school at 630am, feeling high and anticipated. After the short briefing and warm-up by Mr Leow, we were all ready to welcome our fellow new J1s. At the start, it was extremely chaotic as we guided them to their respective ogs. Some came up to me, claiming that their ogls didn't call them. So the command centre was filled with perplexed J1s. As the day went on, it became more and more boring with all the talks lined up. I could feel that the J1s were almost suffocated by the boredom. Lol. In any case, we had family games and mass dance to liven up the spirit. The ogls cheered and cheered.


Admin Day 2

The ogls came with greater enthusiasm. More and more talks came up. Then it was the subject registration. When everyone from og 11 came back from their registration, we sat down together. Me and Grace were teaching them JJ claps, songs and cheers. They were still pretty held back and refused to do the actions. Lol. While I was walking around our family, Chong Tat's og 15 were learning the JJ clap. So I got myself into the og and lended him a helping hand in the teaching of JJ clap. The day ended quite early for them. But not for us ogls. We stayed behind for our debrief and we had our camp dry run. We were all very excited about the camp.


Camp Day 1

We had games and mass dance. Mass dance was extremely fun for the 4 of us: me, Clarence (not my bf), Chong Tat and Su Paing. We were making fools out of ourselves by pushing and punching each other. We were like crazy people and campers ran away when they saw us. Lol. As vice family head, I had to keep running to the command centre and the PE Porch to get attendance about 4 times a day. During family time, the ogls introduced themselves. So Paterson introduced me as the vice head and said that I was attached. Then that Grace said I was attached to Clarence. There is an ogl in F3 by the name of Clarence. So me and that Clarence got so awkward. and because of that, the whole of F3 mistook us for couple. Zzzz. Thanks ah Grace.


In the evening, the campers went to bathe but we ogls couldn't bathe yet. We had to endure with the sweat and the smell till midnight. After dinner, Wei Yuan tried to talk some sense out of the guys in og 11 and I was almost tearing. What he said definitely did have some sense, and I could see the guys feeling remorse. Then we had the singing session at LT5. We ogls stood together and at a point of time, some of us teared, including me. The ogls had their shoulders linked and Chong Tat and Alaric were beside me. They saw me crying and they tried to comfort me by squeezing my shoulders. That small gesture did comforted me. Then, we had our Night Game and og 11 came in the FIRST. I'm so proud of them. Haha. Then it was bedtime for the campers. The ogls had a debrief and we went for shower at 2am. We gathered in the canteen and chatted. In the hall, the few of us were laughing so hard at some guy who slept talk. It was so funny. At 4 plus, Grace, me, Sebastian, Paterson and Chong Tat went to sleep together.


Camp Day 2

The ogls woke up at 5am. That is to say we only had 1 hour of sleep. This day was the longest day out of the 3 camp days because we had a lot of games. In the morning, we had PT. Then we went for breakfast and we went for Telematch. I was the target of a lot of campers and ogls because I ka jiao them with squashed papaya, water bombs and flour. So they wanted to get back at me and all of them ganged up together and pinned me down on the ground and threw flour and all sorts of nonsense on me. After the game, I went to the guy's toilet to wash up and we went up the hall for mass dance. I didn't really have a fixed partner. I danced with ogls and I danced with J1s too. The next game was World of Combat. All of us had fun playing it. What most comforting was that my og got united and they cheered with better gutso. After all the dirty games, the campers went to bathe, but not us ogls. Then it was JJ night, with lots of dancing, singing and cheering. After the singing, I cried again. Because so many J1s came and hugged me, even those who were not from my og. To the other ogs from F3, I was just their family head and I didn't interact with them. But the gratitude they wanted to pass to me despite our lack of interaction really made me cried. After the campers went to sleep, the ogls stayed up the night to make souvenirs for our campers. I was already very tired and bushed but I persevered on. At 3am plus, me and Grace couldn't take it and we went to sleep.


Camp Day 3

The ogls woke up at 530am. We had E-Web today. I cried again (the 3rd time). Becasue E-Web was a game that involved a lot of stirring up of emotions. After E-Web, we gathered in the hall. As Mr Leow thanked the ogls and the councillors, I cried again (the 4th time). Well, in that kind of atmosphere, anyone would have teared. Even the male ogls cried. Mr Leow and Mr Ng cried too. Almost all the ogls and councillors cried. Then, it was time for break camp. The feeling was perfectly expressed by these lyrics : "I want to linger here. A little longer here. A little longer here with you."


Afterwards, we went for lunch at the hawker. Though all of us were tired but we were still laughing and chatting. Then all of us went home and I sat Chong Tat's car home.


Because of this camp, I got to know a lot a lot of friends. And I had made really good friends like Sebastian, Alaric and Chong Tat. Throughout the camp, the 4 of us, including Grace always hanged around together because of a common cause : Hunting Season. I will never forget all the ogls and I really want to thank them. I know many ogls (including me) had lost their voices, so please drink lots of water and take care yeah?
